1927 (21 July) large envelope double registered to Calcutta bearing, on the reverse, 1924-36 20c. (3) tied by Tihwa (Urumtsi) and showing quite an unusual array of transit marks with Tarvisio, Venezia (17.8), Brindisi (18.8), and Calcutta (4.9) and marked in blue crayon, "Brindisi Fast Letter"; the address side with red on white registration label simply marked "China" in blue crayon. There is peripheral damage, nevertheless a most interesting and unusual route for this quadruple rate letter. Photo
