1925 (25 Mar.) envelope with original letter from Kuldja to Vienna "via Sibiria, Austria" bearing, on the reverse, 1916-19 2c. and 8c. tied by good strikes of Ningyuan Sin (Kuldja) c.d.s. with Tihwa transit (2.4), Harbin machine postmark (10.5). Tahcheng and Horgos foreign mail exchange offices were closed at this time, so this letter was routed from Kuldja, through Lanchow, Peking and Harbin where it was put on the Trans-Siberian railway, this route taking two months.
