1918 (7 June) double registered envelope to the British Consulate in Kashgar bearing 1915 1c. and 15c. well tied by fine strikes of Kuche English/Chinese c.d.s. with another strike alongside, the boxed registered handstamp and large "AR" with Shufu (Kashgar) (14.6) arrival. Addressed in Chinese and Uyghurian script. Paying 6c. postage within Sinkiang (introduced on 1 April 1917) and 5c. each for registration and acknowledgement of receipt. An attractive and appealing cover with all the marks on the address side. Photo
