1910 (9 May) envelope double registered to Tihwa bearing, on the reverse, C.I.P. 1c. (2) and 10c. tied by good strikes of the Sinkiang/Kuchengtze c.d.s. with a good strike of the boxed registered handstamp and large "AR", plus Tihwa arrival (11.5). The internal postage was 2c. for ordinary letter plus 5c. each for registration and acknowledgement of receipt. The postal tariff was increased to 3c. on 5th August. Only six covers are known to be despatched from Sinkiang in this period. A rare and very important cover. Photo
