1895 (8 May) large I-Chan cover sent from Tihwa to the Judicial Commissioner of Sinkiang living in Peking bearing a good strike of the Official seal in magenta with two weaker strikes on the reverse. Usual creasing and some ageing. An important cover which is believed to be the only I-Chan cover from Sinkiang used before 1909. Photo
