1916 (19 Jan.) 4k. Romanov postal stationery card to Sweden bearing Chinese Provincial Junk 1c. tied by Yangihissar c.d.s. for carriage to Kashgar where the card has been cancelled by a fine strike of type Ka-2b c.d.s. (11.1) with another strike alongside, other transit marks with Tashkent (25.1), Petrograd (17.2) and Stockholm arrival (5.3), there is also a large red handstamp in Chinese characters reading Kashgar Russian Post Office and Russian censor handstamp. Fine and a rare card, it is thought that only two such cards exist, both from the same writer. Photo
