Cyprus, George V (1910-36), Proof 45-Piastres, 1928, 50th Anniversary issue, crowned King left in coronation robes, rev. two lions passant left, edge milled (Pridmore 1a; KM 19), faint hairlines on otherwise brilliant surfaces, the fields overlayed by an attrractive cabinet tone, a pleasing extremely fine, and rare, only 517 struck, with original card box of issue, later penned to 'R. H. A. Hart-Davis'
