(x) India, East India Company, Bengal Presidency, in the name of Shah 'Alam II (c.1793-4), milled Rupee or contemporary copy, 11.55g, 'Murshidabad' (unknown mint), undated type, ry.19, edge grained right, no privy marks within bead clusters (Stevens - (see 4.11 / 4.18); Pr. -), small die crack at top of reverse, small chips in edge and rim reveal that the surface silver has been applied to a base planchet, graining also clumsy, but appears to have circulated as a coin, good very fine, interesting
