Kings of Kent, Cuthred (798-807), Penny, late phase, Canterbury, Sigebehrt, 1.12g, + cvÐred rex cant, diademed bust right of fine workmanship, with an aquiline nose and ornate 'fishscale' armour, rev. + sigeberhti moneta, cross pattée, wedges in angles (Naismith C33.1, for type; and, cf. 33.3 for similar portrait detail; N.211; S.877), a field find, lately conserved, with only minor edge loss and the hint of a crease, otherwise good very fine, very rare, these dies unknown to Naismith
