Iceni, uninscribed coinage (c. 50 BC- AD 10), gold Stater, early 'Freckenham' type, 5.32g, two crescents with forked terminals opposing, each enclosing two pellets, rev. stylised horse right, rosette above, star below (SCBI Mack 28b, this coin; VA 620-7/9; S.426; ABC 1447-50), minor striking splits with consequent peripheral weakness, otherwise good fine and with a solid pedigree
