Spain, Philip II (1556-98), 8-Reales, 1586, Segovia, aqueduct with two rows of three arches, crowned shield, king's name spelt pilippvs, rev. arms in octafoil (Cal.173), cleaned, good very fine, extremely rare, only a few examples known with this error in the spelling of the king's name

Another example of this rarity, struck from the same pair of dies, was sold by Aureo & Calicó, auction 283, 20 October 2016, lot 182, for 3,200EUR. In that catalogue it is stated 'sólo concemos seis ejemplares, uno el de la Colección Trastámara no.425, Ex Colección Lepanto 27/4/1999 no.178, Ex Colección Trigo.'
