Charles II (1660-85), Embarkation at Scheveningen, 1660, cast silver medal by P. van Abeele (monogram on edge), carolus ii d g magnae brit fra et hib rex, bust facing three-quarters right, rev. in nomine meo exaltabitur cornu eius . psal . 89, fleet sailing into distance, Fame heralds the armada from above, and holds scroll inscribed soli deo gloria, a shell beneath (in dutch) reads: his majesty departed holland from scheveningen to his own kingdom, a diaper blow-hole at 6 o'clock, 82.87g, 70.5mm.
