Volunteer Force Long Service (India & The Colonies), G.V.R. (Voltr. E. Burgoyne, E.C. Voltr. Rfls.), engraved naming, lacquered, very fine

Edward Burgoyne was awarded his Long Service Medal in IAO 485 of 7 September 1914. He appears to have been a storekeeper by profession and died at Waltair, Madras in October 1915; sold with brief research.
