1813, large seal of Amar Singh Thapa,

Commander in Chief of the Nepalese Army, ideally-struck on reverse, dated April 1813, by which time Amar Singh had been promoted to General, carried by courier to Kantipur (Kathmandu) and addressed to the King, a choice strike well-suited for exhibition, very fine; the following year, Amar Singh Thapa would lead the Gorkhali Army against the forces of the British East India Company in the Anglo-Nepalese War, earning him recognition as the "Living Lion of Nepal"
