franked with $1 on 15c scarlet Alcock and Brown, with comma after "Post" (C2), tied to cover by St John's machine cancel (9 Jun), postmarked Harbour Grace (14 Jun) and handstamped HANDLEY-PAGE-AEROPLANE, endorsed "via Trans-Atlantic / Air Post", addressed to Manchester, England, a few light wrinkles, but a remarkably clean and attractive cover, one of 115 recorded carried on this ill-fated flight that was forced to land at Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, shortly after take-off; with unused real photo postcard showing the Handley-Page Flyer at Parrsboro.
