French Africa mint & used country collections, in several well-organized folders, many desirable singles and sets, noting Senegal collection with powerful 1887 surcharged issues, #3 and 15 used with P.F. certificates, 1892 issues complete mint, J1-21, Battleship “Richelieu” Air Post overprints, Nossi-Be strong in 1890/93 issues used, including #17 & #18 signed Bloch, #19 signed Diena, #20 signed Kohler, postage dues with #J1 used on piece, single signed Bloch, #J5 with APEX certificate, Somali Coast mint with good early twentieth century coverage, including inverted centers and color proofs, Diego Suarez with #1-17 used, mint & used Navigation & Commerce sets, valuable Gabon, particularly used 1886 issues, including #7 signed Bloch, #10 used with APEX certificate, 1904-18 issues appear complete and mostly mint, French Guinea #1-17 mint,1904-7 complete mint, Benin noting #1, 2, 3, 4, 8, and 9 mint, good coverage of French Offices in Zanzibar in mint and used, Ivory Coast with useful Parcel Post, and much more, some small faults but many fine and desirable and scarce examples; an ideal nucleus for a new endeavor into this area, or to fill many of the challenging gaps in an existing collection.
