China, People's Republic, 1950s-1970s valuable holding of sheets & large multiples, predominantly CTO though also including several never hinged examples, beginning with denominations from the 1950s including multiple examples from the Gate of Heavenly Peace series, progressing through the 1950 Inauguration of the PRC (reprint), mid-1950s with a comprehensive selection of 1st 5 Year Plan and 1955 Long March, 1960s issues with three blocks of thirty used 1961 30f Gate of Heavenly Peace, 1962 Albanian Independence, various denominations of the 1963 Butterflies, 1963 Children's Day CTO set in sheets, 1963 Folk Dances, 1963 Table Tennis Championships CTO sheets, various sheets from the 1963 Landscapes including the scarce 50f key value in CTO sheet and multiple large blocks, 1966 Victory in South Vietnam in multiple CTO sheets, good representation of 1965 Mountaineering, 1965 Chingkang Mountains, an 1964-6 Buildings, CTO part-sheets of 24 of the first four values of the 1967 Mao "Our Great Teacher" issues, and many more, some condition issues expected including wrinkles, creases to selvedge, etc as typical in such a large holding, most sheets have been folded, Scott catalogue approaching if not into six figures, over 150 issues represented with many desirable items, an exceptional and important holding that would be an incredible challenge to re-assemble, chiefly fine-very fine.
