1857-9 6d plate proof in black on wove paper, large part-pane of 120, from the top of the sheet, precise impression and bold appearance, folded lightly through row six, between rows seven and eight, and between columns one and two, pre-printing paper crease to proof and lower right, a few insignificant corner creases and wrinkles of no importance given the significant rarity of multiples of this size, a beautiful item for the specialist, fine and rare.
