Germany World War I Prisoner of War postal history & postcard collection, of over 80 postcards and 35 POW postal cards and covers, the vast majority of the postcards being unused real photos, many depicting prisoners from various British regiments along with camp scenes, note an uncommon pair of cards showing prisoners engaged in sporting activities, most appear to be from Minden, Munster, or Parchim Camps, the latter with violet camp handstamp on many cards, the covers and postal cards from a variety of camps including Crefeld, Friedrichsfeld bei Wesel, Doberitz, Gardelegen, Schneidemuhl, Gottingen, Giessen, Sennelager, Altengrabow, Colberg, etc, also note a few Russian camps and an internee in the Netherlands, condition is above average, with much being very fine, fascinating historic material worthy of further study and research.
