Ireland 1922/35 specialized King George V overprint study mounted on carefully-annotated quadrille pages, presenting a detailed examination of the King George V overprints of Ireland, beginning with the February 1922 Printing, which is present in singles as well as multiples, including one pair identified as a 9d double overprint, one albino, and several control blocks, proceeding to two mint sets of the Dollard overprints on Seahorses, including color shades, continuing through to the 1935 Waterlow overprints, with printings in between being represented in mint multiples, many color shades, and often identifying small varieties such as thinner overprints and broken letters, noting in particular a set of three mint 1922 Thom overprints on Seahorses, including an additional two showing overprint varieties, 1925-7 Bradbury-Wilkinson Seahorses showing both narrow and wide date types, and much more. In total over 100 control pairs and strips are included, with dozens more multiples, many positional, including of high-values, the album and page edges show signs of toning, which appears to have miraculously avoided the stamps, chiefly fine, and in general possessing impressively bright color, worthy of expansion and continuation.
