French Colonies balance of better singles & sets, an extensive grouping of approximately sixty items, all purchased individually at auction and remaining on their original lot cards, many interesting items including Gabon #1, 2, 6, and 15 used, St Pierre & Miquelon #9 o.g. with inverted overprint, French Guiana #9 used, cut into at top but with expert backstamp, #18-30 mix of mint and used,Senegal #1 o.g. and #J3 (signed Brun), Nossi-Be #9 appears unused, 24c inverted surcharge used, Diego Suarez #22 used, signed Senf, and #25-37 o.g., Martinique #11 o.g. (small thin),and used on piece, Obock #12-20 mint, Hoi Hao o.g. selection, also various from Guadeloupe, Ivory Coast, Tahiti, French Offices in China, New Caledonia, and much more, chiefly fine, significant catalogue value, but some thins and small faults, questionable postmarks and overprints, inspection essential, a worthwhile group.
