Master die proof of the frame in black on wove paper and affixed to card of the same size, marked "O.K. PROOF" and with three sets of file numbers, subsequently marked "1½d. 2d. cancelled" across the proof in red ink and with a line through two of the file numbers; a little soiled and with small hole above the value tablet though an exceptional and unique die proof found in the Waterlow archives.
