1935 (28 Nov.) Zeppelin flight envelope from Pernambuco to Bathurst, bearing Brazil 700r. and $3,500 sharing double-ring datestamp and flown on the last of three pendulum flights made by the Graf Zeppelin showing "condor/zeppelin/lufthansa" illustrated cachet and with arrival datestamp (2.12) below, posted back from Bathurst to Pernambuco on the first flight of the resumed Lufthansa service with ½d., 2d. and Silver Jubilee 1/- slate and purple tied by 6 December datestamps and with arrival datestamp (8.12). Rare with just three covers recorded carried on the Zeppelin and resumed Lufthansa services. Photo

Note: The German seaplane service from Bathurst to Brazil was suspended for two weeks in November 1935 whilst the mid-Atlantic depot ships were refitted, the Graf Zeppelin making three mail carrying flights, however there were no mooring facilities at Bathurst so mails had to be dropped o the ground
