1935 (6 May) plain first day cover envelope from Abu Qir to England, bearing 1p. ultramarine on reverse tied by fine retta and with Alexandria Depart datestamp of the same day alongside, face panel (apparent rubber band mark) with despatch datestamp and Crowned "egypt/13/postage prepaid" handstamp in red; the adhesive a little soiled though a rare first day usage.
