1878 (Sep. 19) Appendix sheet endorsed "Scheme for the colours of the Mauritius Insurance, Bills of Exchange, + Internal Revenue stamps" at top, the sheet laid out in four columns, the first headed "Proposed Colours" bearing Imperforate "United Kingdom Telegraph Company Limited" Telegraph stamps (12), all annotated with the name of the shade, the next three columns headed with type of revenue, and listing the face values the colour was used for. The sheet divided horizontally for display, nevertheless a fine and unique archival record. Photo
