Mail was flown by BOAC via Bangkok to Hong Kong, then by air all the way to the UK via PAA's Trans-Pacific and Trans-Atlantic Clipper Services to Lisbon, and then KLM (under license to BOAC) to Bristol.
1941 (12 Feb.) envelope from Penang to Edinburgh, marked "Via Hong Kong Transpacific + Transatlantic Air Services", franked at $1.90 and showing triangular "passed for transmission/8" in black; the envelope with flap missing. Scarce, less than five covers recorded. Photo
