Bank of England, J.B.Page, £5, ND (1971), serial number A01 000004, dark blue on multicolour underprint, Elizabeth II at right, winged victory in chariot at top centre, Britannia at low left, reverse, Duke of Wellington at right, battle of Fuentes de Onoro at centre, in blue leather presentation wallet with gold image of Britannia on the cover, and BANK OF ENGLAND NOVEMBER 1971 on the interior
(EPM B332), about uncirculated, the wallet in excellent condition, this note was originally presented to Anthony Barber in his position as Chancellor of the Exchequer, and is the lowest number ever likely to be available for a Bank of England 'new design'. Exceptional.
