1870-79 collection of early "Eagle" issues (164) on stock sheets, around half (83) identified by the vendor as genuine, offered with B.P.A. certificates for 1870 1d. brown-lake (unused), and 1877 6d. blue on rose, variety overprint inverted. The forgeries and reprints, all identified, often by type. A fine group worthy of careful inspection.
