1911 (Feb.) envelope (complete with letter) to England, bearing 1a. carmine cancelled with a fine strike of the double-ring "first aerial post/1911/u.p. exhibition allahabad" illustrated cachet in black, despatch and arrival (10.3) datestamps on reverse; the letter with mention of sending other items on the same flight an "also the autograph of Mr. H Piquet"; traces of light foxing though very rare.
