Commando Brief (-) black on bistre-yellow, twenty-four used examples cancelled at Barkly West (8), Bloemfontein, Modder River (13) and Spytfontein (2), showing October dates for 21st and 24th, November dates for 9th, 10th, 13th to 18th, 20th, 22nd, 23rd and 25th to 28th, December dates for 13th, 15th and 31st, January 1900 dates for 1st, 10th and 12th and February date for 27th; condition a little mixed in places though many are fine.
