1900 (July) captured Boer telegram envelope from Trooper H. Ross to Capt. Batten of the Royal Rangitikei Rifles at Marton, Wanganui showing Viljoens Drift and Field P.O. datestamps and showing "T" handstamp, 1901 unstamped and stamped envelopes from a member of the 7th. Contingent in Natal to New Zealand, one from Durban sent unstamped and, despite being countersigned by the Commanding Officer, marked "Temuka 1d. to pay", the other from Newcastle bearing 1d., and 1902 much travelled envelope from Auckland to Kimberley with a variety of datestamps, instructional and censor marks; faults in places though an interesting group
