1855 (5 Nov.) double rate entire letter from London to Melbourne and redirected to Castlemaine, marked "pr Ocean Chief" which left Liverpool on 6 November arriving in Melbourne on 25 January 1856 and rated "2/-"; upon redirection "registered" 1/- Die I plus Queen on Throne 2d. (damaged) and Woodblock 6d. applied and cancelled. A little soiled though a rare example of the Retaliatory Rate, being one of two covers known.. RPSV Certificate (2008). Photo
