1950 Tibet - India Coded Messages; a small group of documents with (15.9) signal from the Chagtsi Tibetan Mission, New Delhi to the Political Mission, New Delhi for the Tibetan Parliament in Lhasa; a letter (21.9) from the Ministry of External Affairs to Tspon Shakabpa, a senior official of the Political Mission in New Delhi and a teletex telegraph message from the Tibetan Parliament to the Mission in New Delhi dated 18th October, shortly after the first major attack of Chamdo. Also 1951 (23 November) envelope to Xichuan, Honan (most of the address has been bleached out) bearing a fine strike of the circular military Free Frank c.d.s. in blue, code 64991, Xining (old Tibet) transit (24.11), a further transit and arrival c.d.s.
