1878 a superbly illuminated Grant of Arms to Jacob Rupp;
with four vellum sheets 270x355mm each illustrated on both sides with paper interleaving and signed on the final page by Emperor Franz Joseph with his Hungarian language signature, "Ferencz Jozsef". Some minor edge buckling, otherwise in very fine condition, the title page signed by the artist. With watercolour sketch of the proposed coat of arms before modification. Photo
