1800-09 a group of signed letters, including part printed, when he was Minister of Police and later and includes a letter addressed to the Minister of War, Duc de Valmy and all are with his distictive signature. Also an engraved portrait and a broadsheet titles "Massacre of the French King, view of La Guillotine or the modern Beheading Machine at Paris" printed for William Lane in London. A. good group

Joseph Fouché, 1st Duc d'Otrante (1759 – 1820) was a French statesman and Minister of Police under Napoleon I. He was particularly known for his ferocity with which he suppressed the Lyon insurrection during the Revolution in 1793 and for being minister of police under the Directory, the Consulate, and the Empire.
