King George V
1936-42, two studio photographs of King George V and Queen Mary. Both are on Vandyk mounts, King George V, 180x283mm, annotated in the hand of Queen Mary, "In remembrance of King George V, 1936". The King is in the British Army uniform of Field Marshal with full highland dress including kilt, sporran, Royal Victorian Chain, insignia, medals and Royal Family Orders.

Queen Mary, 203x310mm, in a formal full length portrait wearing the Vladimir tiara with pearls, stomacher and star of the Order of the Garter. Signed in her hand at foot, "Mary R, 1942". An attractive pair of presentation portraits. Photo
