William McConnell
1854 a coloured visiting card (91x60mm) designed as an envelope with his portrait in place of the queen with the legend "Artist on wood"; some glue marks on the reverse, otherwise a fine example of this artist's humorous nature. Also a group of pencil or watercolour studies of characters (mostly female) from "Regent Street" or London and elsewhere dated 1861-62. A charming group. Photo
