USA: Oro Fino Gold & Silver Mining Co., 7% bond for $1000, 1865, #247, large format bond with State seal in centre and mining vignettes, black and blue, with coupons. Owned mines in the Inyo Mining District, Tulare County, California (Now Inyo County) and also the town site of Chrysopolis. The town was founded in 1863 firmly based on the mining industry but like many was soon abandoned. revived in the 1900's with a further mining boom but by 1910 to town was again abandoned. Some splitting at folds but AVF and scarce (250 issued).
