Compagnie des Indes, Edict of February 1724, rente viageres issued 1 July 1726, under lottery scheme granted as a privilege to the comany under the edict for [605] livres, consists of both contract and certificate, black. Under this lottery scheme prizes were awarded in Rente Viageres in the form of a tontine whereby half of the interest accrued to survivors as a holder died (Shakespeare CI.1). VF and now quite scarce.
