(x) 1898, 4½% Gold Loan, an unissued bond for £100 from the reserve stock, German issue, large format, ornate border, brown with pale blue underprint, not numbered and no red chop bottom centre, no signature of Deutsch-Asiatische Bank official, lacks coupons, single small hole bottom centre. Other unissued examples exist but are complete with all coupons and are not in any way cancelled. This is the second of 3 pieces known to the cataloguer. Better than EF [R10*].
