This issue was overprinted in complete sheets of 240 with initially "South West Africa" 16½mm. long on the upper two panes and 16mm. on the lower two panes. This order was subsequently reversed. For printings from 8 November 1926 all four panes had the 16½mm. measurement

½d. vertical blocks of twenty-four, sixteen, eight and four (2), ½d. horizontal blocks of twenty-four (2, one 12x2) and twelve, 1d. vertical block of four, 2d. vertical block of twenty-four, 3d. ultramarine vertical blocks of twenty-four, sixteen (from centre of the sheet) and four, 3d. horizontal block of twenty-four (12x2) and 1/- vertical block of twenty-four, 1/3d. vertical blocks of eight and four, all from the early printings with 16mm. on top stamps and 16½mm. overprint on lower stamps, and 2d. block of four from later printing with 16½mm. on top stamps and 16mm. overprint on lower stamps; one 3d. from the centre block of sixteen defective though generally fine mint
