1766 (30 May) entire to Rev. Dr. Burton at the Christian Missionary centre in London showing, on reverse, largely fine large "barbadoes" handstamp (PS3) and two Bishopmarks (1.4), light "dover/ship lre" handstamp on face; docketed internally "Bahamas, a letter from Mr. Bascome, schoolmaster at New Providence, dated Jan. 6 1766. Read at Committee Sept. 15 1766". A rare handstamp with only about six examples recorded. Photo
