1854 (Aug.) orange-brown envelope from Hampton Ferry to Connecticut, bearing 1851 3d. dull red pair with clear to good margins, both neatly cancelled by "15" in oval grid (rarity factor 8) and additionally tied by circular undated "new brunswick" in blue, showing "paid/10/cents" h.s. in red with fine despatch c.d.s. on reverse.
