1896-99 trio of items, two envelopes from Gronigen to "Dutch factory, Monrovia" both endorsed "via Liverpool", the first 1887 (14 April) bearing 1872-91 10c. rose (2) and 5c. ultramarine, with Oval "monrovia liberia" arrival d.s. (erroneously 4.4.), the second 1889 (4. July) bearing 1872-91 25c. deep lilac with indistinct arrival d.s. also 1887 (9 Mar.) Austrian replay postcard from Bozenstadt via London (2.4), with "marshall/ liberia" unframed arrival d.s. on reverse (10.5). Minor faults to envelopes (peripheral tears, toning) nevertheless a scarce group.
