1857 (26 Feb.) mourning envelope "via Southampton" to London and redirected on both face and reverse to Kingsland, bearing 4a. blue and red 4th. Printing, cut-to-shape, cancelled and tied by fine "131" in diamond of bars with legible "field force/persia/pd" datestamp alongside, also showing framed "india paid", London Paid c.d.s. (20.4), with a further London datestamp at upper left for the same date and, on reverse, Bombay (16.3) and London (20.4) datestamps, and "leadenhall st." handstamp; small tear at top clear of the adhesive.
