(x) Palestine Currency Board, £10, 1 September 1927, serial number A013067, black and blue on orange and green underprint, the Crusaders Tower at Ramleh at left, value at centre and corners, reverse blue, the Tower of David and the Citadel of Jerusalem at centre, Ezechiel, Couper and Harding signatures
(Pick 9a, TBB B104a), graffiti in watermark, but fresh and original, about very fine and an excessively rare date. Not seen at public auction anywhere since Spink in 2011 and 2007. Likely less than 10 of these extant, and this is undoubtedly one of the finest of those.
