National Bank of Egypt, an obverse uniface proof/colour trial £100, ND (type of 1921), blue and green and purple, camel and the Citadel of Cairo at left, Mosque at right, value at centre and at each corner, also a uniface reverse colour trial £100, ND (1913), red and pale blue, felucca and the ruins at Philae at centre, value top left and right
(Pick 17 and 16 for type, Hanafy M3 for obverse type), both perforated SPECIMEN, good extremely fine and unusually no fold at right. These notes were often placed in printers archive books which were too small for the note and the note was usually folded to fit. Small crease top left otherwise extremely fine and very rare and a handsome notes (2)
