Tibet, Anonymous (1910), Kelsang (Monk) Tangka, undated, obv. bead type 0/2/0/0 (KM 14), in PCGS slab, graded AU50)

This special tangka was distributed to monks during the Monlam (Great Prayer) Festival in early 1910. The distribution probably took place in the Kelsang Palace, located in the Norbulingka, the site of the park and summer palaces of the Dalai Lamas in Lhasa.
