Westerham Hoard, disclaimed by the British Museum, refs. 2003T7, 2005T18, 2006T564, 2007T624, 2009T182, 2010T105
The Westerham Hoard was discovered scattered over farmland by a metal detectorist in at least six instalments over the course of a decade beginning in November 2001. As of publication, the most recent addenda to be disclaimed occurred in February 2010. Consequently the size of the hoard currently stands at 118 coins and one broken torc fragment. Given the appearance of this particular specimen at auction in June 2008, the final two British Museum treasure references are provided only for completeness.
