Richard Corfield was born at Shrewsbury in March 1868 and was a member of the Militia besides working as a labourer when he enlisted in 1888. Following his service as a member of the 'Whitewash Brigade', Corfield served in South Africa (entitled Medal & 5 clasps). He was discharged on termination of service in 1907; sold with copied service records.
